Okra with Rice

This unusual vegetable dish is as tasty as it is easy to prepare.

Yield: 4 servings

1 cup long-grain rice 250 mL
2 cups chopped frozen or cooked fresh okra 500 mL
1 onion, finely chopped 1
1 can (14 oz/385 mL) tomato sauce 1
salt and pepper
pita bread

Cook rice according to package directions.
